Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has arrived at the Bangabhaban to hold a meeting with President Abdul Hamid.
Our Correspondent reports: The premier reached at Bangabhaban around 6:45pm. Among others, Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan is accompanying her.
Earlier, Secretary to the President's Office Manjur Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune that the premier would visit the president tonight.
She is expected to discuss the overall situation surrounding the election and her formula of all-party polls-time government with the president, he added.
The premier is meeting the president for the first time since she placed her formula on polls-time interim government on October 18.
Meanwhile, a team from the Election Commission is also set to meet the president. They have sent a letter to Abdul Hamid seeking appointment.
