A trader was killed when miscreants attacked him with sharp weapons in the capital’s Dakkhin Khanarea on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Delwar Hossain, 22, a trader of bKash, a mobile banking system.
Two to three miscreants attacked Delwar while he was counting money in front of his shop before closing it around 1am on Thursday morning, leaving him critically injured.
Delwar was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries around 10am.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Inspector MozzamelHoque, also in charge of DMCH police box, said: “The concerned police station has been informed about the incident and they will investigate the matter.”
