The shooting for Akram Khan’s upcoming film Ghashphul starts from tomorrow, announced the cast and crew at the film’s Muharat programme held on November 12 at the Channel-i offices.
A bunch of new faces will be featured in the film which is also the debut project for the director. Model turned TV actor Asif, Veet-Channel i Top Model’s first runner-up Tania and Channel i Shera Nachiye participant Shayla Sabi will be seen in the lead roles of the movie.
Asif, who has worked in three unfinished feature films earlier, said, “It would be my dream come true when I will finally appear on the silver screen. I will play double roles in the film. I simply love the story and am hopeful that the audience will love it too.”
Tania has appeared in several TV commercials and plays after she became the runner-up of the reality show. “I am really very excited to be a part of the film. I hope it will add a milestone to my career,” she said. Accomplished musician Swani Zubayeer is the music director of the film.
