Dhaka Tribune offers a caricature booth at the two-day Unmad-JCC Comic Con 2013 which begins today at The National Shooting Federation Hall, Gulshan 1. Two accomplished cartoonists will be there to provide caricatures of comic book lovers who will join the festival. The event will take place from 2pm to 10pm every day.
Unmad-JCC is giving away 20,000 comic books for free at the event. The first 2,000 people who buy their tickets to the event can submit their tickets and claim 10 comic books for free.
With music, good food and cosplay, there are going to be panels of artists signing comic books and drawing for fans all throughout the event. Aspiring artists can show their drawings or share their ideas with the professionals in the panels, get tips and learn tricks from them. And comic book admirers will also be able to view rare personal collections of comics and collectibles. The tickets are priced at Tk100 and the children under 4 feet will get free entry.
