Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday visited prominent poet Mahadev Shaha at his residence in Uttara. The poet has been suffering from old age complications.
Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Abul Kalam Azad told state news agency BSS that Hasina had enquired about his health and stayed there for a while.
She also prayed for the poet’s early recovery.
Post and Telecommunications Minister Shahara Khatun was also present.
