A passenger of a tempo was killed as the vehicle turned turtle on the road in Bahaddarhat area of Chittagong Monday morning.
Deceased Zakir Hossain, 30, was an officer of C&A Group of the city.
Md Abdur Rauf, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon police station, told the Dhaka Tribune that the tempo toppled on the road when its driver took a hard break to save a child who was on the way, leaving Zakir critically injured.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead around 11:45am.
