Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy on Friday greeted the Bangladesh cricket team for their achievement in the home series against New Zealand.
Joy posted a status on his facebook page greeting the team around 3:34pm.
The post reads: “Congratulations to our Tigers on their series victory over New Zealand. They played brilliantly and have made Bangladesh proud. I was fortunate enough to watch Rubel Bhai’s hat-trick live on TV at first match. Amazing!”
Earlier, Bangladesh’s dominance over New Zealand in One Day International cricket continued as the hosts snatched a 40-run win in the second ODI, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Thursday.
