Four Bangladeshi nationals were killed and nine others injured, five critically, in a road accident at Amgara in Jahara, Kuwait on Saturday, foreign ministry officials here said on Monday.
The deceased were Israfil, son of Haji Shamsuddin of Faridpur, Shawkat Sheikh, son of Jobbar Sheikh of Madaripur, Nasir Uddin, son of Lihas Uddin of Manikganj and Nazir Ahmed, son of Nur Ahmed, also of Manikganj, reports UNB.
Five of the seriously injured were kept in the ICU, said a foreign ministry official. They are Anwarul Sheikh of Faridpur, Abdur Rab Khan of Manikganj, Babul, Salam and Dewan Ali.
The other injured are Siraj of Faridpur, Belal of Comilla, Abdur Rahman of Manikganj and Hannan of Madaripur.
The accident took place at about 5:45am as the Bangladeshi nationals were on their way to workplaces. It is still not clear how the accident took place.
