The main opposition BNP on Sunday announced that the vehicles carrying A-Level and O-Level examinees will remain out of the purview of the 18-party’s 60-hour nonstop countrywide hartal.
The A-Level and O-Level examinations began today (Sunday).
BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement taking the safety of the students into consideration.
Drugstores, hospitals, ambulances, vehicles carrying hajj pilgrims and the press, restaurants, grocery stores and kitchen markets will remain out of the purview of the countrywide shutdown, he said while addressing a press briefing at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office at around 12:40pm.
