Two private TV channels, Ekattor Television in Baridhara and Desh Television in Mouchak, came under bomb attacks on Saturday evening.
Two journalists of Ekattor Television were injured in the attack.
Senior Newsroom Editor Zakaria Akanda Biplob reportedly sustained serious lacerating wounds, while a camera crew Alamgir Hossain suffered injuries in the ear.
Witnesses said miscreants threw the bombs when the two journalists were standing in front of the office building.
The TV channel blamed supporters of the opposition for the attack.
The channel’s journalists said Biplop sustained injuries in his leg and was admitted to United Hospital, adding that later he was shifted to the Dhaka CMH, following instructions from the prime minister.
Khandaker Lutful Kabir, deputy commissioner of Gulshan Division, said no one could be arrested in this connection yet.
Two crude bombs were also exploded in front of the office of Desh Television,” where the daily Bhorer Kagoj’s office is located as well.
