Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said the quarter against independent judiciary were behind the blasts across the capital on Saturday.
He made the statement in response to a query of a private television channel in the afternoon.
The comments came soon after the explosions near the residences of Appellate Division Judge SK Sinha, Justice Zinat Ara,
Environment Minister Hasan Mahmud and Motijheel division Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman.
Meanwhile, the attorney general condemned and criticised the attacks.
On the other hand, blasts and arson were reported from several areas of the capital ahead of the probable 60-hour nationwide strike.
