The administration on Friday morning eased the 36-hour ban on all types of political meetings, rallies and protests in the Bogra municipality area.
In the latest development, the ban has been imposed in Altafunessa Playground and its adjacent areas from the morning.
After being granted permission, BNP will be holding its rally on the Central High School grounds around 3pm.
Earlier, the Bogra district administration had imposed a 36-hour ban, effective from Thursday, after the Awami League and BNP arranged rallies at the same time at Altafunessa Playground today.
