Jubo League activists on Wednesday morning blockaded Dhaka-Chittagong highway protesting the alleged attack on one of its members in Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong.
Jubo League activists claimed that Jamaat-e-Islami’s student wing, Islami Chhatra Shibir activists chopped one of their activists in Sitakunda around 2am on Wednesday.
Later, they blockaded Dhaka-Chittagong highway from 8:30am till 9am as the news spread in the area.
Sitakunda police station Officer-in-charge SM Badiuzzaman confirmed about the blockade.
