Popular band Shironamhin’s vocalist Tanzir Tuhin, who also is an architect, will be seen acting in the sequel of “Trump Card.” The drama will be aired today at 8:20pm on RTV.
Dhaka Tribune caught up with Tuhin to know about his current projects and experiences:
What is the story of Trump Card 2?
The drama is the continuation of “Trump Card,” which was telecasted last Eid. In “Trump card 2,”I played the role of Ziko who is a mobster. Mim, my co-worker who plays the role of Maria comes back to town and she has Tk5bn with her. I am aware that Maria has the money. So I fake a romantic interest in her and later betray her. But I did not know that at the back of her mind, Maria had other plans. As I try to escape with the money, I die in a car bomb blast and in the end, Maria gets all the money.
What inspired you to act? Would you like to continue?
It is not possible to play different characters in real life, therefore I really enjoyed acting in this drama. I played such a character that has no resemblance to my real self and it was quite thrilling for me.
If I see a script that I really like, I would prefer to continue to act on drama series in near future.
Did you have acting experience before?
Well, when I was twelve years old, I was with theatre troupe “Obhijatrik.” That was my first acting experience.
Does drama compliment your music profession?
Both are art. As a musician, I would love to explore myself in all kinds of genres related to art. It also enhances my creative process and enables me to explore my limitations.
