Director Madhur Bhandarkar is planning for a sequel of 2008 hit film “Fashion,” but apparently with a new star cast.
And if rumors are to be gone by, he plans to rope in “Ram-Leela” actress Deepika Padukone in “Fashion 2” and has also approached Dharma Productions for his film.
If that’s the case then we aren’t quite surprised that Madhur intends to cast Deepika in his film over Priyanka Chopra. Even if PeeCee has acquired international status, looks like its Deepika whose films sell better.
Though there has been no official announcement so far, it will be interesting to see our leggy lass in Priyanka’s shoes.
The movie “Fashion” made quite an impression on the audience with its focus on models and the harsh reality they face to make it big in the industry. The previous flick also had Kangana starring as a troubled model.
