Former High Court judge Justice Marzi-ul Huq, 68, died of heart attack in the city on Saturday morning.
Family sources said Justice Marzi-ul complained of chest pain in the morning. He was rushed to Square Hospitals where doctors declared him dead, reports UNB.
He left behind his wife and two daughters to mourn his death.
He will be buried at Azimpur Graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Dhanmondi Eidgah after Zohr prayers.
Marzi-ul, also brother of journalist AN Mahfuza Khatun Baby Moudud, MP, went on the retirement as an HC judge on September 9, 2012.
