Two cousins were killed in a road accident in the Bathuabari area of Sherpur upazila, Bogra on the evening of Thursday.
The deceased were Liton Hossain and his cousin Masud Rahman.
According to witnesses, the two were tossed onto the road when the motorbike they were riding on collided head-on with another motorbike bearing down from opposite direction. A speeding vehicle then drove over and crushed their bodies, leaving Liton dead on the spot and Masud gravely injured.
Masud succumbed to his injuries at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
