Two people were killed and 30 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Tebaria area on Natore-Rajshahi bypass in Natore early Sunday morning.
One of the deceased was identified as Tarikul, helper of the bus while the identity of another victim could not be known immediately, reports UNB.
Highway police source said a Rajshahi–bound bus collided head on with a cattle-laden truck coming from the opposite direction around 5am, leaving the two dead on the spot and injuring 30 others.
The injured were admitted to Natore Sadar Hospital and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
