Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited a cinema hall in Dhaka on Friday evening to watch Hollywood movie "Project Hail Mary"
He arrived at Shimanto Shambhar Cinema Hall at around 6:55pm, according to officials.
BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the visit, saying the prime minister went to the cinema hall to watch the film directly as part of an effort to encourage healthy cinema and cultural activities.
“He (the prime minister) went to the cinema hall to encourage healthy cinema and culture. We believe this will further inspire creative filmmakers and actors in the future,” he said.
