A total of four films are going to hit the cinemas across the country in the upcoming Eid-Ul-Azha. Dhallywood gears up with Shafiuddin Shafi’s “Purno Doirgho Premkahini,” Malek Afsary’s “Full and Final,” Nazrul Islam Khan’s “Premik number One” and Shah Muhammad Sangram’s “Ki Prem Dekhaila.”
It won’t be surprising to know that the “King of Dhallywood,” Shakib Khan, who stars in three Eid movies, will dominate the season. While Ananta Jalil is considered the only superstar who can give a tough competition to Khan, his absence in this season brings back the ascendancy of the “King.” However, the industry’s rising stars Bappy, who appears in “Ki Prem Dekhaila,” and Arifin Shuvo, who is another hero of Shakib Khan-Jaya Ahsan starrer “Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini,” might make some difference in the scenario!
On the other hand, the cinemagoers would be disappointed by knowing Iftekhar Chowdhury’s action-packed movie “Agni” and Debashish Biswas’ romantic comedy “Bhalobasa Jindabad” have stepped back despite of their schedule to be released this Eid.
The Dhallywood fans are keenly waiting for watching the on-screen chemistry of Shakib and Jaya through “Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini.” The fans have expressed their utmost interest for the film via different online social networking sites. The film will be screened around 70 cinemas across the country.
In Malek Afsary’s Full and Final, Shakib has paired up with new Dhallywood heartthrob Bobby. The stars have made huge waves after pairing up in TV commercial of an energy drink which have released recently. But, this is the first time they will be seen romancing on the silver screen. The stunning Bobby says: “Our chemistry in the TVC was greatly appreciated by the viewers and that encouraged me to act opposite to him. I hope the audience will once again welcome us.” According to the director, it is a romantic-action movie that contains some social messages. The movie will also be shown in around 70 theatres.
Popular duo Khan and Apu Biswas will again spell their magical romance in Nazrul Islam Khan’s “Premik Number One” where the hero breaks every obstacle to win his girl.
“Ki Prem Dekhaili” is another stereotypical commercial film where the lovers go through an array of hiccups to be together. The later two films will be released in 50 cinemas.
