The cabinet on Monday approved the Payra River Port Authority Act and Neuro-Developmental Disability Protection Trust Act at the secretariat.
The cabinet also approved the ratification of the extradition treaty between Bangladesh and India.
The meeting approved the Bangladesh-US Counterterrorism Cooperation Initiative and Memorandum of Cooperation of Ministry of Home Affairs of Bangladesh and US Drug Enforcement Administration for mutual cooperation on drug control.
Cabinet Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiya told journalists about the outcome following Monday’s cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
