Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam is finally out in the theatres but hasn’t got much positive response from the critics. Most of them have lambasted the movie and said that there is no chemistry between the lead pair, it has too many songs which disrupt the continuity, and some have even described the movie as vulgar and crass.
The film is also getting negative response from the public on social media sites. Even though the movie has earned a respectable 40 crore at the box-office in four days, the future seems bleak and it is going to be tough for it to break the record of “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” which is Ranbir’s biggest earner till date. Though Ranbir Kapoor has given a good performance, the content and storyline of “Besharam” has proved to be the deal breaker.
Directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap, the film also stars Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Pallavi Sharda in important roles. It’s a big disappointment for the makers of “Besharam” because it was seen as a sure shot hit at the box-office prior to its release. However, the film still has some days to regain the lost momentum.
