St Gregory’s High School emerged as the champions of the Cooline AC School Rugby beating Shegun Bagicha High School in the competitive final at the Paltan Ground yesterday.
Shahid Nabi High School finished third in the seven-school meet.
Najmus Sakib of St Gregory’s was adjudged as the man of the tournament. Maksusdul Momin, the managing director of Abarani International, of the sponsor organisation distributed the prizes as the chief guest. Rugby Union general secretary Mousum Ali, joint secretary Saeed Ahmed and international referee Philip Wise were also present on the occasion.
