Comilla emerged champions of the Marcel 22nd National Junior Wrestling Championship, winning four gold medals and one bronze on the final day at the handball stadium yesterday.
Dhaka finished runners-up with two gold medals, one silver and two bronzes. Jessore was third with one gold, four silvers and one bronze. In the girls section Narail clinched the crown with two gold medals, three silvers and two bronzes followed by Rajshahi who had two gold medals and two silvers.
The executive director of RB Group S.M. Zahid Hasan distributed the prizes as the chief guest. F.M. Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, the additional director of RB Group and wrestling federation general secretary Tabiur were also among those present at the closing ceremony.
