A least 22 people were left injured when the members of two families got locked in a clash over ownership of a pond in Bedgari area, in the district’s Shibganj upazila, on Friday afternoon.
Among the injured, seven are currently in serious condition. They were admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital.
Fazlul Karim, officer-in-charge of Shibganj police station, confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
No case has been filed yet in this connection, said the OC.
