Dhaka, BJMC and Rangamati made winning starts at the Walton Invitational National Women’s Handball Tournament 2013 at the M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium yesterday.
Bilkis scored nine as Dhaka thrashed Kusia 18-2, BJMC humbled Bangladesh Police 26-1 and Rangamati defeated Naogaon 18-11. In the day’s last game, Dinajpur drew 16-16 with Rajshahi.
Earlier in the morning, chief guest youth and sports secretary Nur Mohammad inaugurated the tournament.
