Two people were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a three-wheeler on Dhaka-Bogra Highway in the Betgani-Banani bypass area on Wednesday morning.
Sources said a Dhaka-bound bus of Hanif Paribahan collided head-on with a three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction at 7:15am, leaving one dead on the spot.
The injured were sent to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College where the three-wheeler driver Dulal Hossain succumbed to his injuries in the afternoon.
