Bangladesh Biman emerged as the champions of the men’s team event of the Walton Mobile Open Table Tennis Championship after beating Sheikh Russell by 3-1 set at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in Paltan yesterday. Javed won two sets while Regan won one for Biman.
Tuhin won the only set for Russell. Meanwhile, Lalbagh Table Tennis Club became the champions in the women’s team event which was held in league system among four clubs.
BISS Club became the runners-up while Abahani finished third. The men’s singles event final will be held today at the same venue.
