A North and South Indian Food Festival has kicked off in the Westin Dhaka hotel on Wednesday through a press meet at the hotel’s Silver Room.
The festival is going on at the hotel’s Seasonal Taste Restaurant, aiming to enhance the local and international culinary experience of the guests, giving them an opportunity to acknowledge the authentic tastes of north and south Indian rich culinary heritage.
Sandeep Chakravorty, deputy Indian high commissioner in Dhaka, and Vinay Varma, Bangladesh country manager for Jet Airways (India) Limited, inaugurated the festival with other high officials from the Westin Dhaka. Guest chefs Dharmendar Sharma and Suresh Thangavelu from India presided over the kitchen from on Thursday.
The festival will continue until September 25.
