Drama series “Aparajita” is about a young woman who sacrifices everything to make her lover’s dream come true. Written by Matia Banu Shuku and directed by Sajjad Suman, the series airs on ETV at 9:50pm from Wednesday to Saturday.
Popular actor Prova, in the role of Aparajita, is the protagonist of the story who leaves her family to stay with her lover, Pavel.
The young man is a struggling singer who dreams to be a rock star. Aparajita takes a job to financially support Pavel.
At one point Aparajita discovers that she is carrying Pavel’s baby. Considering the social structure of Bangladesh, she insists Pavel to marry her but he does not agree since he has many other challenges to meet on the way to become an established singer.
Finally, Aparajita aborts the baby to avoid putting any obstacle on Pavel’s way of success.
But, Pavel, frustrated by struggling too hard and not getting due recognition, becomes seriously addicted to drugs.
