A police constable was killed and two others were injured after a covered van collided with a pickup in the Amanganda Bazar area on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway under Chauddagram upazila in Comilla on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Kamruzzaman, 32, a constable of Muhuriganj Police Camp in Feni, reports UNB.
Police sources said a Chittagong-bound covered van collided with a pickup in the Amanganda Bazar area around 8am, injuring three people including the constable.
The injured were rushed to Comilla Medical College Hospital where Kamruzzaman succumbed to his injuries.
