A Bangladeshi man was shot to death allegedly by terrorists in South Africa on Friday, UNB has reported.
The deceased was identified as Shamim Ahmed, 30, son of Abdul Khalique of Shilghat village in Gopalganj upazila.
A group of three “terrorists” attacked Shamim when he was on his way back from work at around 10pm local time. The shooting left his critically injured and he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Shamim owned a business establishment there which, according to family sources quoted by UNB, he started after marrying a Muslim woman there.
He left for South Africa five years ago.
