Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the people to be aware so that nobody could spread militancy in the name of Islam.
She made this call while speaking after inaugurating the Hajj Programme 2013 at the Hajj Camp in the capital’s Ashkona on Friday.
Terming Islam “a religion of peace,” the premier pledged that her government would set up mosques with improved facilities in all the upazilas of the country.
