Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni said the government is determined to bring back the six fugitive killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

She said: “The government will bring them back and try them at any cost.”

She made the claim while addressing a discussion and prize distribution ceremony at Dhaka University's Charukala Art Institute.

The discussion was organised marking the 38th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The minister said: “The present government will bring all the convicted killers under trial, complete it and free the nation from stigma.”

“We will prevent all the conspiracies unitedly, as we are determined not to let the August 15 happen again,” she added.

Among others, Vice Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University Prof AAMS Arifin Siddiqui, Dean of Charukala Art Institute Abul Barq Alvi and President of BCL central committee Badiuzzaman Shohag were present during the discussion.
