Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd (BGIC) appointed Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury Mintu as managing director recently.
He joined BGIC at its Chittagong office in 1986 and was later promoted to general manager, said a press release.
In 2009, Saifuddin Chowdhury was made deputy managing director (operation) at the BGIC head office in Dhaka.
He was later appointed as additional managing director (operation) along with the responsibilities of company secretary.
