BJMC, the representatives of Bangladesh in the Walton International Invitational Women’s Kabaddi, made a winning start by beating Assam 26-17 at the Kabaddi Stadium yesterday. BJMC earned one lona in their success. Meanwhile in an all Indian affair, West Bengal edged past Andhra Pradesh by 37-33 points in the second match of the day. Iliyas Kanchan, executive director of Walton inaugurated the meet as the chief guest. Kabaddi Federation general secretary Md. Nazrul Islam and additional director of Walton FM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn were also present on the occasion.
