Two construction workers died from suffocation while cleaning a water reserve tank at Roma police station building in Roma upazila, Bandarban, on Saturday morning, UNB reported.
The deceased were identified as Hemayet, 22, and his brother-in-law Kamal, 32, from Barisal district.
Jakir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Roma police station, said Hemayet died after getting into the under-construction water tank to clean the inside at about 7am.
Kamal also entered the tank and met the same fate.
A unit of Bandarban Fire Service have gone to the spot to recover the bodies, said the OC.
