A driver of inter-city train was injured as a stone thrown by miscreants hit him at moving intercity Dhaka-bound train, Mahanagar Godhuli, on Thursday night
The driver, Abdullah Al Baki, 55, was critically injured as a stone hit his head as the train was crossing through Brahmanbaria Station.
“Several stones were thrown through the window as the train was running slowly while crossing the college para square around at 8 pm on Thursday,” said Brahmanbaria Railway Station Master Amrita Lal Sarkar.
Baki has been sent to local clinic for treatment, reports banglanews24.
Just two weeks ago, on Aug 10 night, Prity Das, 27, an engineer was killed in Chittagong as unidentified miscreants hurled bricks at a moving Dhaka-bound train, critically injuring her as one of the bricks hit her on her head.
