Her main promise is to make Madaripur free from terrorism, extortion, juvenile gangs, corruption, and drugs -- building a healthy, safe, and smart Madaripur.

She has taken special initiatives to protect the safety and interests of women as part of Sheikh Hasina's Smart Bangladesh.

Besides, his special aim is to prevent artificial inflation of raw materials and food adulteration and take strict measures to control the quality of food products and create employment.

Homayra Latif Panna has been involved in Awami League politics for 40 years and has stood by people of all walks of life, including the poor and hardworking people of Madaripur.

Her main aim is to build a smart Madaripur by ensuring the basic rights of the people and fulfilling their aspirations.

After receiving the nomination paper, she further said: "I am your child. I believe in actions, not words.  Now, I am a member of the Madaripur District Awami League.  My father late Abdul Latif is a lawyer, he served as the president of district Awami League for a long time, he also did politics with Bangabandhu and elder brother Advocate Emran Latif is joint general secretary of Madapur district Awami League."

"I want to work equally with men and women.  Finally, I am hopeful that the Prime Minister will give me a chance this time," she added.
