Bangladesh outplayed Iraq 18-13 in the 3X3 Basketball of the Asian Youth Games, Nan Jing China yesterday.
In the 10 Metre Air Rifle Risalatul Islam scored 611 to finish 12th out of 40 participants while Hasanul Banna shot 605 to be placed 21st.
Meanwhile Bangladesh golfers Afnan Mahmud Chowdhury and Liza Akter performed poorly in the Men’s and Women’s Individual Stroke Play, playing +21 and +14 respectively. Afnan was placed 25th among the 27 golfers while Liza was 21st among the 21 participants.
