Two people were crushed to death and another was injured when a train hit a human hauler at Daripara level crossing under Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur on Friday, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Russel, 30, a human hauler driver, and Abdur Rahim, 32, a resident of Palash upazila in Narsingdi district.
Police said the accident took place in the area around 10:30am when a Dhaka-bound train from Noakhali hit a vegetable-laden human hauler while passing the level crossing.
Narsingdi railway police recovered the bodies and sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
