BNP Chairperson and Leader of the Opposition Khaleda Zia has called a meeting of the party’s Standing Committee on August 14 to devise the next course of action.
The meeting of the highest policymaking body of the BNP will start at 8:30pm at Khaleda’s Gulshan office, Syrul Kabir Khan, an official of the BNP chief’s press unit, has told the Dhaka Tribune.
He has said Khaleda will also sit with her alliance partners on August 15 at the same venue.
Khaleda’s Press Secretary Maruf Kamal Khan has, meanwhile, said US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan W Mozena will hold a meeting with the BNP chairperson tomorrow at the Gulshan office at 8:30pm.
