At least eight people were killed and 30 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Gobindaganj upazila, Gaibandha, on Saturday afternoon, reports UNB.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Police said the two buses collided head-on at Goalia around 5:15pm, killing three people on the spot and injuring 34 others.
The injured were rushed to Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex where five of them died.
Details of the fatal road accident were awaited.
