Over 100 people including, two police constables were injured in a clash over trivial matter in Gokorno Bazar of district municipality area on Saturday.
Police said two men from Chhoybaria and Gokorno Bazar engaged in an altercation over auto-rickshaw fare around 11am.
At one stage of the brawl, people from both the villages rushed there with lethal weapons and locked into fierce clash, leaving more than 100 people injured on both sides.
Some shops were also vandalised during the clash.
Later, police opened rubber bullets and tear shells to take the situation under control.
