A navy cadet was killed and nine others were injured as a microbus fell into a roadside ditch in Moksudpur upazila, Gopalganj district, on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Khorshed Alam, 32, of Narayanganj district.
Sources said a Dhaka-bound microbus coming from Rupsha fell into a roadside ditch as the driver lost his control over the steering on Dhaka-Khulna highway, leaving Khorshed dead on the spot and nine others injured.
The injured were rushed to Moksudpur Upazila Health Complex and Faridpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Officer-in-Charge of Moksudpur police station Ferdous Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
