An eight-year-old boy was killed as a mud wall of his room collapsed on him Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Foysal Ahmed, son of Tarikul Islam, of village Krisnachandrapur, Moheshpur upazila, Jhenaidah district.
Locals said the wall of Foysal’s room collapsed on him at about 10pm while he was sleeping, killing him on the spot.
On information, police rushed in and visited the spot.
The wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall, said police.
