Prime minister’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy hosted an iftar for a small group of editors at Ganobhaban on Sunday.
He exchanged with the guests pleasantries and shared views at the informal get together.
The newspaper editors were Mahbubul Alam of The Independent, Anwar Hossain Manju of the daily Ittefaq, Golam Sarwar of the Samakal, Imdadul Haq Milon of the Kaler Kantho, Naim Nizam of the Bangladesh Pratidin, Altamas Kabir of the Sangbad and Zafar Sobhan of the Dhaka Tribune.
Toufique I Khalidi of bdnews24.com, Alamgir Hossain of banglanews24.com, and AP Bangladesh bureau chief Farid Hossain were also present. Media Adviser to the PM Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury was present at the iftar.
