Eight people have been sued in connection with the killing of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) activist Mamunur Rashid in Barura upazila of Comilla on Thursday.
Anwar Hossain, brother-in-law of the victim, filed the case on Friday accusing the eight to be activists of JCD while Babul Hossain Bappi was the prime accused.
The case statement described that Mamunur Rashid, 22, son of Sekandar Ali of East Padua village, was stabbed to death by Bappi and his associates following a conflict over exchanging money from a motorcycle sale on Thursday night.
