Acting on a tip-off, the coastguard patrol team caught OT Suchona loaded with 91,412 litres unrefined oil from the river near the port city’s Bangla Bazar area on Monday around 4:25pm said a coastguard (east) zone press-release.
It added that earlier on Sunday another patrol team seized OT Queen of Jyoti loaded with 95,000 litres of furnace oil from the same area of the river around 6pm.
