Shopnolok has organised a film show and discussion on deceased media personality Bulbul Ahmed’s career and life programme.
The event will be held Wednesday at the seminar room of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 12 noon.
To mark the occasion of his third death anniversary, his remarkable hit film “Devdas” will be showcased. Popular novel “Devdas,” written by Sarat Chandra was the first film made in the country that was adapted from the timeless work of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam, the film featured Bulbul Ahmed and Kabori in central roles.
Daughter of Bulbul Ahmed, Oindrila , his wife Daizy Ahmed, dance personality Laila Hasan, cultural activist Hasan Emam and Firoz Khan will attend the programme.
